Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong area, but I just thought I'd bring this person's photos to the forum's attention.

He has posted many, many historical photos of UK zoos (Welsh Mountain, London and Chester for example) and they are fairly interesting.

He may even be a member of Zoochat (judging by the sheer number of zoos that he has visited)?

Someone called David Quayle was the marketing manager at Chester in 1983 and previously worked at Flamingoland. It may be the same person.

Well chester are planing to house hippos again in their master plan, so we wont have to wait long hopefully

Not sure if that idea not been dropped as Common Hippos are not endangered enough.

If you search the Chester Zoo gallery for hippo, there are three photos of the enclosure and one of the indoor pen.
