A pretty uninspiring vista- looks rather like a prison camp. Have they heard of landscaping...?

I've seen this before let me think ......... that's it the outdoor grounds on Prisoner Cell Block H

Actually I think both the people in the video are actually staff at Noahs any way but cannot be 100% sure.

So long as it isn't a Sunday! You really should be at church on a Sunday!

(My local church is Edinburgh Zoo in that case!)

LOL, 'Learn the benefits of modern zoo technology' as he picks a stick through the cage, very technological :p

I see that the Youtube video has been removed at the owners request!

While looking through Youtube regarding Noah's Ark Park, Bristol; there is a video of a "dangerous snakes at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm" -
The overall footage is sheer madness, not only unsafe practice, it is very obvious that the footage shows two staff who have no idea what they are doing let alone have any clue. HASAW and even common sense clearly has never entered these people's brains. Also if you watch the "Official Primates and Reptile Keeper Experience at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm, the "experience" is not what you would call of value, educational, or even experience at any level.

I also watched the expose that the BBC1 Inside Out West show did in 2009, although CAPS were behind the expose to the BBC1 and there are issues that CAPS seek, I was still shocked at what was shown. I am not a fan of Noah's Ark Zoo Farm and what their message and mission is or what they want to give out as a message, however, I feel that even without the CAPS investigation, the zoo was going to be found out.

Speaking of enclosures and the like, Cell Block H, err that seems tame compared to Noah's, have the staff or Bush ever heard of enrichment, design, educational, conservation and engaging with the public to ensure that welfare, and the ethos of good zoo work strives to be seen and heard?

Maybe somebody who's visited more recently can confirm but I'm not sure the YouTube footage is of Noah's Ark. The sloping seating structure and display area wasn't there when I last visited, admittedly a while ago, and I've not heard of any being built in the interim. Similarly I've never heard of them keeping venomous snakes.

My sceptical mind may be wrong, but I'd appreciate some clarifiction.

There aren't any venomous snakes in this footage.

I've watched the clip youve posted and I can't really see what the problem is with it.

The venomous snakes were brought in for a few special days,by the same pet shop that loans them some of their more interesting Reptiles.I don't believe it was repeated after the time the video footage was taken!

I didn't notice any snakes in the clip you posted - just a tiger.
the clip that bigcat speciali linked in post # 11 was the "dangerous snakes" clip. The one I linked in post #14 was the one about "keeper for a day" which bigcat speciali had remarked had been removed from youtube and so was no longer viewable in the link in post #1 (it had been uploaded to youtube by someone else and since removed; the one I posted was from the zoo's own youtube channel)

Thanks for clearing that up, it was doing my head in.
