I would like people to help me with this. I am still working on it but I have got some information. (example but it is real)So on November 5 2023. Sputnik, the son of Mazy(amur tiger) went to the Dakota zoo, following a breeding recommendation with Nadya. Here is the Facebook post:
Dakota Zoo
I will be adding the list in a few days. I would like to get some help and have some information.

Some former species that were phased out are:
Ruwnzori mounts bats
red monkeys
spectacled bear
ocelots
patas monkey
fishing cat
muntjac
Andean bear
common eland
Przewalski's horse
Thompson's gazelles
White-throated toucan
King Vulture(back in the 1980s, a female went to Toronto for breeding. See family thread Toronto zoo)

I will make a full list later.
Polar bear(in the sphere, first animal at the sphere)
Black-and-white colobuses(I am not sure about this, they haven't been on exhibit since 2021, according to this Primates in Canadian Collections they owned 4 monkeys. The exhibit was the giant sphere now for the dholes)
Bald eagle( map from 2016 showed them, an aviary near the sphere)
Eurasian owl(in the sphere before the colobusese)
Capybara, the last two individuals who died, Oscar and Vilda, were there in 2021. Then they disappeared and the maras took their exhibit.
On phase-out: elephants but they are still young, maybe they will change?

Well that is something I legit did not know, I didn't know that Patriarche ad Sirene came from Copenhagen, as hipposworld.de states their birthplaces as "unknown".
Their first baby is Alcide
However, their first hippo baby was named Samson, the same one who lived at the Toronto Zoo until 2017.

Also, Granby had Black Rhinoceroses from the 1960s until about 1985.

Well, their website says it is Alcide, but I heard that there was Samson. Thanks for helping me out. I did not know Granby had black rhino, thanks. But I think that Granby is the one who knows the answer so they might be right.
Edit: Phased out species
Black bear, they said they exchanged black bear for a chimpanzee from France. So they had some

I always forget this animal. The Red River hog was from a loan from a zoo(forgot the name) They were there in 2021 then the loan ended and Wildebeest replaced them. Another former species. Also for Cornelius the black rhino, I got this information from San Diego zoochatter, here is the link: San Diego Zoo Safari Park History [San Diego Zoo Safari Park]
The parents are Bulley and Suzie. Cornelius fathered 4 calves in his life, 3 in SD-WAP and one in Cadwell zoo. Here is a family tree thread about SD-WAP. The calf eventually had calves. I suspect that Corneilius parents are wild born, but it is not certain

All the baby's surname is Alcide, but they have another real name. Samson is indeed the first baby and their sisters Petal and Perky.

Hello, I am a Korean who is not related to Canada, but I collected some information about the black rhinos of Granby Zoo. This was because Mimi, Bulley and Suzie's daughter and Cornelius' younger sister, were sent to the Seoul Zoo.

According to the international black rhino studbook, Mimi was born on Aug. 11, 1982, and she became the second black rhinos at the Korean zoo by arriving at the Seoul Zoo on Nov. 2, 1983, the following year, but sadly, she died of enteritis and pneumonia on Dec. 10, just a month later.

The names and stud numbers of Granby Zoo's black rhinos I checked in the 2001 international black rhinoceros studbook are as follows.

  • Bulley(0079)
  • Unnamed female(0143)
  • Cornelius(0292)
  • Suzie(0293)
  • Mimi(0344)

And this images are scan image files of postcard that uploaded on the Granby Zoo page of Les Zoos dans le Monde. The year of photo taken is unknown, but if the two pictures were taken in the same year, I think the rhinos in this postcards would be Bulley, Suzie, and Cornelius.

Thank you for providing this information. The website is cool. It shows many animals that were at the zoo.
New former animals: Cheetah, the cheetah neck is leased. The place look like turtle island where there is the pond. The cheetah might have lived there or just for the photo. I am not certain about this

What species of Ibex?

That adds many cool species to the list. Incredible. Thanks for providing the information Dt644.
Wait I just noticed that there are elephants in the second photo you provided, asian elephants maybe? Their ears look smaller. The elephants were living with black rhinos?
Edit: New information about Zoo Granby Asian elephant. There is an Asian elephant named Kitty who was wild born a female, around 1965. Kitty then went to Rockton zoo after to African Lion safari and produced 4 calves. Here is the link:

I do not want to post long message that hides the former animals at the zoo and their descendant so I decided to make a Google document. It is near done but I am still changing things and adding. I would appreciate people helping me and providing. I will be posting the document in a few days.

Jita, a female snow leopard, around 3 years old is pregnant at the Toronto zoo. The sire is Pemba, from I think Calgary Zoo. Finger cross to be a successful birth. The dam and the sire of Jita are Kang and Elsa. Update: Jita, the snow leopard has begun denning. She is getting closer to entering labour. She will be in the maternity indoor yard. Fingers crossed for successful and healthy babies.
