This'll probably fall on deaf ears, but just-in-case:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function geoip_userdata_start() in /hsphere/local/home/hampel/zoochat.com/includes/class_dm_user.php(214) : eval()'d code on line 1

I'm seeing that a lot, in PMs and the forum.

I've had nearly three days without ZooChat - the withdrawal symptoms are ugly!!!

Back on line now but don't know for how long. Sim, do you know what the problem is?
 
No deaf ears - I do monitor the help and feedback area, so this was the right place to post about the issue.

I have also employed someone to monitor the support@zoochat.com email address and notify me of any issues they can't fix themselves, so that's also an ideal place to report errors.

There is an error that a small set of users is experiencing right now which is difficult to isolate because it is no widespread. I am working on it - although it might take me a while to track down a fix.

Perhaps email me: support@zoochat.com with details of which pages you experience this error on so I can try and identify where the error is coming from.
 
Thanks Sim what ever you have done it seems to have worked,I was getting the same error as the one posted by SMR but was getting it every time I tried to get into zoochat!!

I too was getting similar errors whenever I tried to log-on; I'm glad I wasn't the only one.

This morning I managed to log-on to ZooChat for the first time since last Wednesday. Fortunately, it all seems to be working fine now.

Sim has this problem affected private messages that have been sent, and maybe not received?

Hi zooman, there should not be any problems with private messages. At worst, you may not get notified about there being a new PM, but it will still be in your inbox waiting for you to read it.

If you know someone has sent you a PM and you haven't received it, please email me and I'll look into it.
 
The errors appear to have been corrected, for me at least. They were effecting PMs, but only the ability to read them within the forum and that seems fine now too.
