Fossil Rim Wildlife Center Fossil Rim News

He is the second bull to arrive the other one is Uhuru, lately of Abilene Zoo. He was supposed to take over from Kusamona who passed away. Suggesting a move for him or staying put at FR.

The park’s youngest male white rhino, Blake, has been transferred out to another facility. And the park’s new breeding bull, Khari, has been introduced to the park’s females for breeding. He’s recommended to breed with two of the females, Ursula and Xena. The other two cows, Mbili and Raka, are too old to breed iirc (Raka hasn’t produced any calves and she’s 20+ and her mother Mbili is already 40+).
