On March 3rd, it was announced that the zoo transferred (2.0) northern cheetahs to the Parc Animalier d'Auvergne in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France on February 25th.

Ils étaient auparavant hébergés au @fotawildlife en Irlande et formeront au Parc avec une femelle (arrivée prévue début avril) un groupe reproducteur dans le cadre du programme de reproduction européen de l'espèce (EEP). ▶️ Dans la nature, les guépards du Soudan sont classés en Danger Critique sur la Liste Rouge de l'IUCN. Il est donc crucial de les protéger ! ▶️ Avec @play_for_nature, nous soutiendrons cette année grâce à votre venue au Parc @ccfcheetah qui les protège dans leur milieu naturel. ▶️ Les guépards ne sont pour le moment pas visibles mais ils le seront pour les vacances de Pâques ! . On August 18th, it was announced that the zoo transferred a (0.1) northern cheetah named Darcy to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in South Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

3 meerkats born on 19th September to mum Biggy and dad Snaggle, the first meerkats born at the park in 10 years.

On December 12th, the zoo announced the meerkats' names, Biggle, Bing, and Bundi.

12 Eurasian Curlews have hatched so far at Fota from a potential clutch of 31 eggs collected from the wild. The chicks are being raised and will be released soon once flighted to improve morality rates in the wild.

Great wetland bird recovery support. They should do this elsewhere too. All European wetland and wading birds remain in decline in my home country thanks to overzealous and industrial farming practices that are economically non-viable and environmentally absolutely unsustainable. It is a scandal at the European level, honestly (and this all due to years of Govt. sabotage, farming community subterfuge and income support no employee ever gets out of Govt. at any given time not in work nor when on UB40!
 
On June 6th, it was announced that the zoo transferred a (0.1) Northeast African cheetah named Callie to the Dublin Zoo in Ireland.

On June 17th, the zoo announced that they transferred a (1.0) Indian rhino named Shusto to ZooSafari Fasanolandia in Apulia, Italy in late April.
