Does anyone know the names of the baby aye-aye born in 2011 and the male aye-aye that came from America? I know the parents of the baby are Malala and Kintana and the female from America is Tsara...?

No one who knows the other American aye-aye's name? Malala, Kintana, Kimala and Tsara are the ones I know so far.

19 Hamadryas baboons were send to San Dioego Zoo for their new Africa exhibit.- So only 13 animals left at Frankfurt Zoo.

For the first time in 23 years, a Goodfellow-Tree Knagaroo w as born in April and was now looking out of the pouch for the first time. There was another young in 1999, but it died 3 months old. Frankfurt had the first breeding for germany in 1981-hopefully, this young is the start of a new regular breeding l together with Krefeld.

The male comes from the US and the female came from Beauval via Rostock according to the Zoofreunde forum.

The 9-year old male is called Samarai. If any of our US friends knows more on whether the male originated from San Diego, Cleveland or San Antonio, .... much appreciated.

I'm not from the US...will you accept an answer from Lancashire? :)
Samarai comes from San Diego.

Don't know if this was answered on the aye-aye thread, but the other aye-aye's name is Vintana (or "Vinny").

In the end Frankfurt themselves told me, but thanks anyway! You wouldn't happen to know a bit more about which aye-aye lives with which would you?

@ShonenJake13 : Unfortunately not. My knowledge of aye-ayes in Europe is actually quite lacking; I only know the Americans for the most part, and so I know which ones have been sent to Europe and where they are located. I would assume that Vintana and Tsara are not paired together, as I assume they were sent to Europe for breeding purposes and breeding them together would defeat the purpose of that (also they are siblings).
