Funniest Zoo Sign

There was a metal cylinder detailing a vertical list of animals at London Zoo's 'Into Africa'. Underneath words like giraffes, warthogs and zebras was the word 'Toilets'

When I went to the Alpenzoo in Innbruck the English language guide book said that the toilets could be found in the bear enclosure.

Which guidebook was that? As far as I know I've got the full set barring one or two mid-1980s language variants, and none of mine contain that claim - so I might have another to track down!

I once worked at a science center which will remain unnamed and the ID placard for the Wolf Eel read: "Wolf Eel Eelus Wolfus". It was likely just a clerical error that made it past proofreading and we fixed it but apparently it had been like that for many years.

It would have been the mid 90s, summer 1995 if I remember correctly. I haven't got the book anymore.

I have one for that time period - it looks like neither the map within the guidebook nor the relevant section discussing the bear exhibit make that claim - although there *is* a toilet marked on the map next to the bear exhibit!
