As much of a pain life can sometimes be, it also brings a bunch of situations for us to be in that create funny stories.
Here you can share some of your funny stories. I'll start with this one.
It was in April of my senior year of high school. Early in the morning when it was still chilly outside, because I live in Ohio so why wouldn't it be chilly outside at this time of the year. After I getting dressed, I went downstairs and made a peanut butter and Nutella sandwich. Probably not most people's first idea of breakfast, but it's pretty good. I'm there in the kitchen, eating this sandwich...I'm not paying any attention to any noises outside whatsoever.
After eating, I grabbed my stuff and went outside to wait for the bus. I was the kind of person who waited past 18 to get my drivers license out of nervousness, so I took the bus through my whole school career.
So I stand at the edge of the driveway and wait...and wait...and wait.
Then I noticed the sun was higher in the sky than normal. And that's when I began to realize I probably missed the bus. Instead of going back inside and having my dad call me off school like a normal person...
I walked.
I'm wearing a thick black coat with jean pants and cowboy boots as well. So naturally I begin to get hot as the sun gets higher in the sky. Not to mention my suspicions were confirmed when my bus driver drove right past me on my way to the school. When I finally got to the school and into first period, my teacher said "I knew something was missing this morning" and when I told them what happened and the distance I walked, I was met with laughter.
And it turned out later on that I apparently walked for about 50 minutes.
Needless to say, I was distracted by food.
