This is the ost common Seahorse Species in european Zoos and Aquariums. They are very popular and are found in many Zoos and Aquariums.
It is due to their feeding habits. They are easily out competed for food and must be kept with docile, slow-feeding fish to be successful. Seahorses and garden eels are two groups that fit the requirements well.
I am surprised to see that frogfish are mixed with seahorses and shrimpfish at Nuremberg, the former will attempt to eat anything moving that gets too close, even hard armored seahorses!

The Brown Trout is one of the most popular native european Freshwater Fish. They are of course very common in european Zoos and Aquariums. They are often kept in Creek Tanks like at Wilhelma Zoo where you can see them in one of my favorite Aquarium Tanks at the Zoo.

The Wels Catfish is one of the largest Freshwater Fish. They are the most Common large Catfish Species in Zoos and Aquariums. Some Zoos like the Wilhelma Zoo keep white Catfish.

This is another huge Catfish, this time from tropical South east Asia. They are often found in Zoos and Public Aquariums.

This Species is also known as the Giant Pangasius. They are one of the most impressive Freshwater Fish, but unfortunatly they are much more rare in european Zoos and Public Aquariums than the Sutchi Catfish.
