The Boarfish is one of the few deep Water Species in european Zoos and Aquariums. They are not common and are only found at a few Zoos and Aquariums.

The Red Lionfish is one of the most popular Fish in Zoos and Aquariums. They are very colourfull have venemous fins and are very invasive so they are found in many Zoos and Public Aquariums.

This is the ost common Seahorse Species in european Zoos and Aquariums. They are very popular and are found in many Zoos and Aquariums.
 
They are fore some reason often kept together with Sea Horses or Garden Eels.

It is due to their feeding habits. They are easily out competed for food and must be kept with docile, slow-feeding fish to be successful. Seahorses and garden eels are two groups that fit the requirements well.

Can be mixed with: Hermitcrab, Sea Urchin, Frogfish,

I am surprised to see that frogfish are mixed with seahorses and shrimpfish at Nuremberg, the former will attempt to eat anything moving that gets too close, even hard armored seahorses!

The Boesemanns Rainbowfish is the most common Rainbowfish Species in european Zoos and Aquariums. Sometimes they are found in large Tanks together with other fish and Turtles like at Praha Zoo.

The Brown Trout is one of the most popular native european Freshwater Fish. They are of course very common in european Zoos and Aquariums. They are often kept in Creek Tanks like at Wilhelma Zoo where you can see them in one of my favorite Aquarium Tanks at the Zoo.

The Electric Eel is unfortunatly not common in european Zoos and public Aquariums. They make a very interesting exhibit which is also very popular by the average Zoo Visitors.

This is another huge Catfish, this time from tropical South east Asia. They are often found in Zoos and Public Aquariums.

This Species is also known as the Giant Pangasius. They are one of the most impressive Freshwater Fish, but unfortunatly they are much more rare in european Zoos and Public Aquariums than the Sutchi Catfish.
