This is one of the most common tropical Ray Species in european Zoos and Public Aquariums. In North American Zoos they are an popular Touch Tank Species.

Freshwater Stingrays are much more common in Zoos than saltwater Rays. The smooth back River Stingray is one Species that is unfortunatly only found at a few european Zoos and Aquariums.

The Zebra Shark is one of the larger Shark Species at european Zoos and Aquariums. They are often kept together with other Sharks, Rays, Sea Turtles and several tropical Reef fish.

Nurse Sharks are often kept together with other large fish and Sea Turtles. You can see them sometimes resting on the top of Shark Tunnels.

This is one of my favorite species of Shark. They are also one of the biggest species in european public Aquariums. Unfortunatly they need huge tanks which are not very common in european Zoos and Aquarium.

This is one of the most colourfull poison dart frog Species. Unfortunatly they are not as common as some of the other poison dart Frogs.

The Axolotl is not only a popular Pet but also a popular Amphibian in Zoos. They are only found at some Lakes in Mexico and so they are a important Zoo Animal.
