A rather bizarre response by authorities to capture the tiger and transfer it into captivity. A former worker at the breeding center was cited as observing that the perimeter of the gharial breeding center was ill-maintained!!!!!On 31st July, one of the enclosures at the Kasara gharial breeding centre in Chitwan National Park was breached by a tiger, which killed three of the gharials and ate one of them, before escaping. The tiger in question was (direct quote) 'later caught and transferred to a cage' - no further detail there.
