Called at Chestnut yesterday and cubs already on display "at keeper's discretion". We were first there and parents and cubs in the outdoor pool all the time we were present. Fantastic to sit and watch as constantly playing. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Lots of wild birds along the stream including grey wagtails, tree creepers and nuthatches.

Went to see them today. We had to wait a while as there was no sign of them but I went back after the first half a dozen or so people had gone and they were in the house, the male was playing with one of the cubs. Then they went outside into the pool and after a while went back in - it was VERY cold!
