Auckland Zoo Giraffe Death

What a shame ..... but at least she has had success in birthing offspring , and was a fairly old giraffe .
It is only in the last 20 years that Auckland has had any success with giraffe breeding -- they almost went the way of the bears ( phased out indefinately )
