Good Zoos in or around Llanes, Spain

I'm going to this region of Northern Spain for two weeks this month, and I want to know if anyone can recommend some good zoos or other wildlife attractions that have sensible welfare towards their animals.

Luck you, we cant afford to go anywhere this holiday . anyway less of my miseries a quick google serach tells me of at least 2 zoos in the rgeion the Hobby zoo and Zoo de Santillana

I dont know what they're like though

Zoo La Grandera. Cangas de Onís. Asturias.

This is the only one "I think" zoo in Asturias ,relativity close to Cangas,Santillana zoo are in other province, about 100 km. to Cangas (your hotel are in Cangas de Onis or Cangas del Narcea?).

There is a Safari Park which I would avoid. I can't remember the name, but it had terrible conditions for some of the animals (chimps and hippos spring to mind)

There is also the marine park named Marineland which was ok if I remember correctly
