Got ink?

I have five in total.

Left arm: university crest; seated, tribal Anubis (jackal)
Right arm: ankh
Left scapula: entire 'weighing of the heart' scene
Right scapula: eye of Ra

Planned: some sort of cat-related tattoo on my right arm

What tattoos do you have?

(PS* I am not of Egyptian heritage - I just like Egyptology. :))

I'm sorry but I simply think tattoos are ugly and I do not plan to ever get one.

By the way, referring to the Egyptian thing, what was once thought to be Golden Jackals are now actually found to be wolfs so technically Anubis is a wolf, not a jackal.

I've been planning on getting a tattoo of the deathly hallows symbol on my foot for ages but I'm a bit of a wimp so it hasn't come to fruition (I got a piercing last year and that was quite the milestone).

But speaking of good tattoos; one of my best friends has the symbols for the four elements from The Last Airbender on his forearm.

You should go get it done. The pain is initially shocking, but bearable. Also, be prepared not to stop at just one tattoo. ;)

A wolf you say? Very cool.

I have no tatoos, and I do not plan to ever get one

That's good thinking. Tattoos last forever, so it's a good approach to never want one. The last thing you want is to get a tattoo (say of a girl's name) and regret it for the rest of your life. I got my first tattoo at 24, and took years deciding what to get.

The only ink I have is inside a Hobbit pen that I won at trivia during an all-day screening of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

I never really wanted tattoos, but lately I guess my rebellious teenager side is coming out because I've been thinking about getting a small one somewhere. However, I would only get one if I found something REALLY important to me that I could deal with having on my body for the rest of my life. Tattoos kinda scare me because they're, well...permanent.

I've got ink, although I've never used that term before.

I got a Maori-design band around my right upper arm when I was 18. That's all so far, but I wouldn't mind getting another one or two, I just don't have any specific ideas for any more yet.

You obviously like it a lot. I'm more of an Akhenaten fan myself.

I was in Wollongong over summer and was amazed by the number of tats, having no tats made me a minority.

That would have a much more painful experience for me than getting a huge tattoo (I imagine ;))
