Like an endangered listing wouldn't allow an animal to be reintroduced to other parts of its historic range? And since when do they care about the well-being of a predatory species? (Actually, that's a rhetorical question)

And as for the impacted communities, history has shown that when both nonlethal measures such as bear-proof dumpsters and education on how to live with bears come into play, entire communities can coexist with bears. Heck, there's even an NGO based in Montana called People and Carnivores which specializes in helping people and predators coexist on the landscape.

If the state of Montana actually cared about the impacted communities, they would put resources into helping people coexist with predators, I mean, let's not kid ourselves. It's not like they don't have the resources to do so, this is the state government we're talking about here.

They don't want to delist grizzlies because they care about them, they want to delist them so they can hunt them and try to treat them the same way they're currently treating wolves. The RMEF (Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation) for example has mentioned they want to go after grizzlies because they eat elk calves.

And can I just say I'm surprised the USFWS didn't delist grizzlies a while back when that decision was being made? Given how incompetent this agency at preserving wildlife?
