Hello! I'm kermodei, and I'm excited to be here!
I'm local to southwestern British Columbia, with my "home zoos" being the Greater Vancouver Zoo, the now-defunct Mountain View Conservation and Breeding Centre and the Vancouver Aquarium (to name the big ones, anyways). If I had to introduce myself as anything, it'd be some mishmash of naturalist, activist, ecologist and historian. With my interest in zoos stemming from a lifelong love of animals, a passion for their conservation and a fascination with the history of zoological facilities.
I look forward to sharing my photos, my knowledge, and to connecting with + learning from others here !
