Hi All,

Glad to jump aboard this merry band of zoo enthusiasts! Unfortunately there's not many zoos in Northern Ireland - but we do have an excellent one. Anyone interested in the history of Belfast Zoo do feel free to get in touch. I'm interested in many species but have a marked fondness for birds (esp ciconiiformes, hornbills and owls), elephants, rodents and other small mammals.

All the best for now.

Raymond

Hello Raymond,

I share your love for all things featherful, and storks and hornbills are some of my favourites.

I've learned so much from this forum, and we're planning a holiday, using some advice given to us from some of the members.

There are some good pages on my website (www.zooscene.co.uk) on hornbills, storks and Birds Of paradise.

Enjoy,

Jonathan
