Having personally visited and hiked through Red Cliffs National Conservation Area, this highway project is disheartening. The reason I was at Red Cliffs NCA was to search for dinosaur tracks (specifically of the ichnotaxon Eubrontes) and wild Mojave desert tortoises and Banded gila monsters
