Guess the animal

Hi, I am a very new here.
I have two games to select for:
a) A hangman game-propose letters until you are able to find the animal. The solution is the full name of a species, but sometimes it may be a (well-known) subspecies
b) I have an animal in mind You ask questions until you find it. I would prefer to say the whole name (eg brown bear, not bear) because some animals could have similar distributions, behaviour etc

Which of them would you prefer?
