Guess the movie

I only know Scoop (I'm not even sure that's the name) and Annie Hall. I'm not a huge Woody Allen fan but I have to admit that Annie Hall is amongst the funniest movies I've seen.

Edit: I just realised that I know Vicky Christina Barcelona too.

correct guesses:
1. Vicky Christina Barcelona
4. Annie Hall

2 Curse of the Jade Scorpion
3 Love and Death
5 Manhattan Murder Mystery

Chlidonias you do surprise me. Also based on your recommendation further up the thread, I have watched Young Einstein. The last time I was that disappointed with a film was when Sun Wukong recommended You Don't Mess with the Zohan as evidence against my claim that there has never been a good Adam Sandler film.

1. Vicky Christina Barcelona (PAT)
2. Curse of the Jade Scorpion (Pygathrix)
3. Love and Death (Pygathrix)
4. Annie Hall (PAT)
5. Manhattan Murder Mystery (Pygathrix)

Over to you, Pygathrix! ;)

I've just never been a fan of Woody Allen. And it is true, I don't think I have ever seen a Woody Allen movie in my life.

As for "Young Einstein", in my defence I did watch it a very very long time ago so it has probably become a lot better in my head. Perhaps the same would be true with "Reckless Kelly". Or maybe you're just from the wrong part of the world to appreciate the genius of Yahoo Serious :p

(However I do apologise for wasting two hours of your life :D)

I can't say I would watch "You Don't Mess With The Zohan" on anyone's recommendation. If it has Adam Sandler in it I think that gives a movie an automatic red flag!

It's all down to personal taste. Yahoo Serious just seems a little to self-consciously wacky to me. At least we agree on Adam Sandler, everything he has produced steams.

How can you be "not a fan of Woody Allen", if you haven´t seen any of his movies?? :D

I like most of his movies, but I know that some people don´t appreciate his sense of humor.. ;) Anyway, if you would like to give it a shot one day, I recommend Whatever Works ( Whatever Works (2009) - IMDb ) One of the best comedies ever, I can´t remember the last time when I laughed that hard :D .

Woody Allen himself irritates me, which is enough for me to know I wouldn't like his movies. I know this because I have seen the caricature of him on The Simpsons a number of times, and I really don't think The Simpsons would lead me astray.

Its the same principle as me not wanting to watch Vin Diesel movies, or Julia Roberts movies. (That's the first principle I'm talking about, not the one about The Simpsons). Or of course the Justin Bieber movie (but nobody else saw that one either so I'm in good company).

So who is posting next? I am just waiting to win so that I could post a few more mock tweets. :D

(Here is an example: "How'd I get stuck with the job of managing an idiot in a tin suit, a femme fatale, a big green monster, Mr Stars and Stripes, and a guy who'd like us to think he is the son of a god?")

we're waiting on Pygathrix. I believe he has a selection of 1960s North Korean period dramas for us to guess.

Nanoboy would you like to go ahead with the tweets, I haven't got any pictures ready at the mo

Theme : stuff which I have enjoyed watching on the telly, and which hasn't been broadcast in North Korea

The first one has to be Archer...I wouldn't know this one if one of my house mates boyfriend's hadn't been watching it constantly for the last three weeks at our house.
Number 4 is either We Can Be Heroes or Summer Heights High. I'm ging to go with Summer Heights High though because she's in a public school uniform.
And number 5 looks like Game of Thrones.

1) Archer
2) Arrested Development
3) looks familiar but can't place it
4) Summer Heights High (I hate this guy so much!)
5) Game Of Thrones

I haven't seen a single one of these shows!!

All but number 3 are correct. 4 is SHH which I thought was brilliant, but the next thing he did called Angry Boys just seemed boring and unfunny and I didn't get past the first three episodes.

Archer is absolutely the bees' knees. Arrested development is the best American comedy for years.

3 might be familiar due to its bastard American cousin. The original is best.
