Guess the movie

Dude, why do you regularly delete your posts? Usually the deleted posts on the forum are double posts, offensive stuff, and spam. Which category does your deleted posts fall under?

Second thoughts on posting the message category - reasons vary.

you can read his deleted post in your thread notification email......;)

It's funny you mention that, because I have not been receiving quite a few notification emails. They seem to be quite sporadic. For example, I was dying to see what you guys posted on the tuna thread that got deleted, but I never got any emails.

cleusk, second thoughts is fine. I probably edit every single post within the first minute of posting when I re-read it.

you only receive a notification for the first post made after you last visited the thread. For example, if you posted in Thread A then logged off (or went to another thread) you would get a notification saying that Chlidonias had replied to Thread A and said "blah blah blah tedious pedantry blah blah blah" or whatever, but it wouldn't notify you of any of the other replies made between that one and when you next visit the thread. So you wouldn't have received notifications for any of the Tuna Thread replies except the first one.

However you should have got a notification of cleusk's deleted post in this thread because it was made right after your post.

This is true of most that I've posted in, but some I get regular updates from, maybe every 2-3 posts, that I haven't actually looked at in over a year, and others I get constant reminders about, e.g. the Hyena discussion in the General Zoo Discussion Forum, which I haven't looked at this year, but have been sent 3-4 notifications about today alone. Weird.

Yeah both you kiwis are describing things that I have experienced too. Maybe sometimes we are subscribed to threads without even realising it.

The hyena discussion was recently revived and if you posted on it once in the past you should be subscribed to it so that's why you're getting email s. I too sometimes get multiple emails for a thread when I haven't visited it for the first one yet.

Alright, folks.

The name of this holiday non-classic is Santa Clause and the Ice Cream Bunny.

The Wizard of Woz made a cameo in a popular sitcom a couple years ago. Can anyone name the sitcom, and for a bonus point, the restaurant he was having dinner in?

I think they're making a movie about the adventures of the "wizard".

Oz the Great and Powerful is a prequel to the Wizard of Oz, telling the story of the wizard, its release date is 8 March 2013. The trailer looks pretty good, I'm looking forward to it.
