Guess the species? #2

very well done everybody! I'm impressed with the getting of fruit bat.

Number one, a thylacine at the Australian Museum in Sydney, guessed by Maguari.

Number two, a fruit bat at the Canterbury Museum (NZ), guessed first by DesertRhino150 (I think its the grey-headed flying fox Pteropus poliocephalus, but a generic "fruit bat" or "flying fox" is good enough for the answer).

Number three, a tree porcupine (Coendou), also at the Canterbury Museum, guessed by Hevden/Maguari

Any one of the above can have a go now

I'll leave it for either Hevden or DesertRhino150 as I'm gonna be away from PC after tonight for 11 days or so. Also very impressed with the bat one - as soon as it was posted it made perfect sense but I'd never have thought of it.

good luck with your trip Maguari. We will expect a full report upon your return.

Thanks - there will certainly be a report and hopefully some photos I can share!

Have a shot at these. Good luck

I am neither confirming or denying location of the last two but the others are all chester and you have them correct so far. Have a guess at the last two.

If all were taken at Chester, this does not rule out ex-Chester species ;) therefore I suspect the last one is a Przewalski's horse.
