1 Black Caiman
2 King Cobra
3 Phantasmal Dart Frog
4 Tayra
5 Arabian Stripped hyena
6 King Vulture

Will let you have that one zg - first person to get the six in a post [that was quick]

#3 is E. anthonyi and not E. tricolor, but will let off with that one as I don't know myself if the common name still applies :p

And Nanoboy - hyena will be more cat like than dog like, it's a feliform :p

2 - ?
3 - leafy seadragon (Phycodurus eques)
4 - spotted-necked otter (Hydrictis maculicollis)

Nope, right family in both cases for 3 and 4 but not the ones I'm looking for.

As for number 1 seeing as the species you list is one of only 3 species of Croc I haven't seen, its no again.

1 - mugger crocodile (Crocodylus palustris)
2 - ?
3 - Possibly a member of the genus Syngnathus then?
4 - smooth-coated otter (Lutrogale perspicillata)
5 - ?
6 - ?

the black head on the python in photo 6 might give a clue.....

Ok, I will swoop in and claim #6 then. I didn't even open the photo until now because I thought it was going to be an insect. :o I didn't want to give an answer like "baby ostrich". :p

Anyway, thanks for pointing it out: #6 is indeed a black headed python.

I'll guess that #1 is a dwarf crocodile.

We have a couple that are correct and a few that are very close, and for some reason number 2 is causing problems as I would say nobody is even close.

Okay let's think...
1. Morelet's Crocodile
2. Steenbok?
3. Weedy Sea Dragon
4. I'm just going with Spotted-Necked Otter
5. Nile Monitor
6. Black-Headed Python (sorry nanoboy:o)

Only 1 correct,if nobody has got all 6 by 22:00pm UK time on saturday I will go with who has the most correct and is nearest with the ones that nobody is getting.

No, not a steenbok or klipspringer, guys. Think more on the lines of goat.

I'm sitting this round (and maybe a few other rounds) out, like Chlidonias, and will offer up some hints if I can.
