ARGH! Scolopendra beat me to it by 2 minutes! However...
1. Gelada
2. Black-headed Caique
3. Harbor Seal (I believe it was taken at the Maritime Aquarium? ;))
4. [Common] Eland
5. Tomato Frog

That went by faster than I expected. Guess I kind of picked some easy ones:o. Since so many have been guessed, I guess instead of saying some are correct, I'll just point out who got which photo.
1. Gelada (Scolopendra) Taken at Bronx Zoo
2. Nobody's guessed it correctly yet...
3. Harbor Seal (AnaheimZoo) Taken at Maritime Aquarium
4. Common Eland (AnaheimZoo because he was more specific) Taken at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
5. Tomato Frog (Scolopendra) Taken at Bronx Zoo

What thread did we surpass, Chlidonias?
the next most-replied-to threads, dimly visible on the horizon, are "Snowleopard's 2010 Road Trip" by snowleopard from 2010 and "Twycross zoo" by KJ from 2008. Both are sitting on a measly 337 replies.

I say we leave it up to Sim to tell us when or if we stop this threadnaut :D

If Sim decides to keep this heck of a thread going, let's give Scolopendra about a day to see if he'll post. If not, AnaheimZoo can have his long-awaited turn that Moebelle took, plus coming in second for guessing my photos.:D

Sorry to say i have no photos :( So if Anaheim wants to post, please do. i'm just happy to take part. :)

You clearly visit a lot of zoos and are quite knowledgeable about animals, yet you have no photos of animals in the wild or in the zoo? That seems hard to believe.

If you don't know how to crop them, it's no reason to be ashamed - any of us here will talk you through the process. You don't know how to attach photos? We'll help you with that too!

No, i dont visit many zoo's, probably visited less than ten different zoo's but i do like reading and studying animals of all sorts, but dont do photography :p Know how to crop and attach photo's but like i said i have none. Hope this is not a problem in me carrying on with the game?

no problems with being part of the game Scolopendra. Anyone can play and if they don't want to post photos, then they can just pass their turn on to whomever they chose.

(On an unrelated matter, I'll just make it clear why I don't think there should be a problem with this thread continuing. The main reason very long threads are closed is because they are cumbersome and difficult to find information in, but as this thread is just a game with absolutely no useful information contained within it, then letting it roll on like an unstoppable train should be fine)

I would post pics if i had some. Do they have to be your own pictures? As i could post pictures of animals seen at a zoo but they wouldnt be my pictures.

no they would have to be your own photos. Copyright issues and all that.

Don't see the fun in that, all I would do is just go to the person's personnel gallery.
1) then why would you even be bothering to play?
2) it wouldn't help if the photos aren't in the gallery, as most of them aren't
3) where's the fun for Sim if you use copyrighted material and he gets in trouble over it as the site Administrator? (I know you won't understand this last point, as you have had a habit of uploading copyrighted pictures from books to the gallery)

I put where I got the picture from and I wouldn't call it a habit.

Ladies, ladies, you're both pretty! Just kidding, I've just always wanted to say that. :o Well, anyway, heres I goesdid. :p

And for the record, the last one is not a picture of a wild animal or a zoo animal.

Wait, can I include pets? Or is that a "no-no"?
