Guess the species? #5

Sorry, it was project week at school so I haven't had much free time.

3 looks like a palm civet, probably common or maybe small-toothed.
4 could be a yellow-tufted honeyeater

this has been dragging on for four days now. Maybe people are just losing interest in the game, or maybe everybody's busy with other things.

I make the score one for Moebelle and three for Ituri at the moment.

I thought the first one was grey goshawk originally but now I'm not sure.....

I wonder if I could do some mock tweets of animals for you to guess, and that might spice things up? :D

Since I'm away from home and don't have access to my zoo photos, let's do something a wee bit different. Shouldn't be too difficult.

is #4 a yellow warbler?

#5 sure looks interesting!

North American birds are not a strong-point of mine!

Three are correct so far. And yes, honestly I have yet to see a photo that does a Lewis's Woodpecker justice. They are brilliant in real life!

so here's what I've guessed at:

#1 yellow-billed cuckoo
#2 prairie falcon
#3 curve-billed thrasher
#4 yellow warbler
#5 Lewis' woodpecker

(EDIT: typed while Ituri was posting above!)

so I know number one is wrong then....and I know Lewis' woodpecker is correct.

I'm not sure which of the other three is wrong though.....prairie falcon looks good with its "dark armpits" (I found that out on a birding site :D), number four I figured wasn't prothonotary warbler because the vent was yellow (but then, I don't know how many sunny yellow warblers there are in the USA), so does that mean the thrasher is wrong?
