But isn't Werribee's hoofstock mainly comprised of African species? The only non-African ungulate I recall is the bison, but...

Oops! Looks like we confused each other. I thought you meant that you saw this particular fawn at Altina, but on re-reading your post, it looks like you meant that you saw blackbuck fawns there - not necessarily the ones from Werribee. Apologies!
As to where they are now.... hmmm good question. I did not see them the last time that I was there, but they are doing roadworks in that paddock, so maybe they are merely off-display?
Is your photo that of a water rat?
An easy one that's taken more than 4 days to guess. Hey, wasn't it BeardsleyZooFan's turn? 
Sorry just saw this. It is a water rat I saw feeding. I tried to take his photo and he just hoped in the water and froze, hoping I could not see him.
So, is it Ituri's,Nanoboy's, or my turn? Gosh this is confusing.
