Guess the species #6

Moebelle did not get number one correct? The reason I ask is because when I hover my mouse over the thumbnail I can see your file name says great egret. (This trick works for photos one and two, but not for three, four, five).

Shhh I was going to say that after I had won!:D

if you could see the titles for the last three you would see that they say, in order, cardinal, wattled crane and Chinese goose ;)

these are the people who have got correct answers first:
vogelcommando
Maguari
Moebelle
ThylacineAlive

I still won't say who has what. You should be able to work that out from the posts. Just number 3 to get now.

and there are now five correct answers!

The winner will be the person who can sort out the tangle and get all five correct birds in one post :p

it shouldn't take more than a couple of tries. Photo number one only has two options, number two has three options, number three only has one option, number four only has one option, and number five only has two options.

Then it should be:
1 Eurasian spoonbill
2 Barred owlet
3 Gang gang cockatoo
4 Takahe
5 Australasian darter

actually, making it even easier you should be able to (almost completely) work it out just from knowing who the correct guessers were.

and I posted that while vogelcommando was brilliantly working it out all by himself!! Well done sir! I shall post the links to the full photos (all in the gallery), and vogelcommando gets the next turn.

Thanks Chlidonias ! Because I still didn't find out to include "attached thumbnails and attached images" in my posts I want ot pass my turn over to Maguari, which answered the - in my eyes - most difficult of you photos, the Australian darter.
So give it a try please, Maguari !

okay, but for your future wins this is how one does it:

first save the photos on your computer, then when you are making a post scroll down the page and you'll find a button which says "manage attachments". Click on this and it will open a box with a browse bar to choose photos from your computer. After uploading each of the photos you want, go back to your post and you will see each photo link is attached. Hit "submit reply" and you're done. Easy-peasy.

You asked for it, VC! :D

Try these out - two dodgy wild shots and three zoo animals - all photos taken in 2014.

Good luck! :)

and they are all thumbnails too! I wonder why mine weren't.

I think number two is a Mountain Hare.

...and I'll just guess at a sambar for the fatty deer.

All of these are just off my head without checking to see if they actually look like those things or not! :D
