Guess the species #6

1 Pampas cat?
2 Goeldi's monkey (unfair because the photo is slightly overexposed ;))
There are alternatives possible for the second.

So we're thinking:

1. Geoffroy's Cat
2. Goeldi's Monkey
3. This really looks like a Plumed/Emerald Basilisk - B. plumifrons (but if so BeardsleyZooFan's guess would have been correct, surely? That's an alternative name for this species.)
4. Southern Ground Hornbill

Sorry, 1. should have been Large-spotted Genet. Got confused there!

I think he/she was correct. I reckon #3 is Basiliscus plumifrons known as the plumed or green basilsk. But of course we could both be wrong :)

Alan

Crap haha my apologies, I wasn't aware there were multiple names for a Plumed Basilisk (I went off of the zoo signs: one has Plumed the other had Green). So we have all correct so far: Large-spotted Genet, Goeldi's Monkey, Plumed Basilisk, and Southern Ground Hornbill.

BZF guessed two of the four so he has the edge and the win. Of course I would be the one to screw it up

it has only been ten hours since Moebelle said who the winner was.

Knowing BeardsleyZooFan as a Zoochat member, I guarantee he will be back to post in time.
