Well that's a kick in the teeth. But if that's the case, that's obviously beyond your control.
But trust me, I know how you feel. When Banham Zoo, where I work, was celebrating its 50th anniversary, I decided to draw 50 of the species they had...and right as I'd got the lineart done and had started to colour, one of the animals I'd drawn (which was the only individual of that species they had) passed away.
Oh, just go with it anyway, it's not your fault they left when your list was already sorted.

Sorry, your contributions have been valued though! To be honest I did amend my original list slightly on later posts to keep 3 zoos in it after I realised another zoo I had in line to go well into the 4th week had got rid of one of the very early species! Perhaps that could be another contest.... Which zoo should have been in the last 3 ( it had 9 of first 10)
To be honest, I've been spending most of today trying to see how easy it was to make a list and keep it as "open" as possible. I won't share what it was exactly, because who's to say I won't successfully guess a future list and it'll be my turn? X3 But it's a tough one.
So, the final species before the last one, zoo and winner are revealed tomorrow
