Look, I do not know if this have been done before, but here it is. The game is to guess which zoo this is with only a few hints. The person that guesses the right zoo, will get to choose the next challenge. Although the zoos can be randomly picked, it is not allowed to search the web for clues on which zoo it is.

This zoo is situated in Germany, in a large city. The zoo is situated in the middle of this city. The zoo was founded in 1858. Major exhibits in the zoo include a large reptile/fish building and a large nocturnal house.

What zoo had a gorilla between 1897 and 1904? In those days, a longevity of seven years was considered a remarkable achievement.

Now I want to check Zootierliste but that's against the rules. I could have sworn it was the Bronx or Washington so I went 50/50, don't know where that idea came from though? :p
 
Dublin? I'm really thinking hard about this, my next guess is going to be Paris Menagerie if Dublin is wrong.

I thought it had been mentioned, I was ZooChatting on my phone and couldn't load the first page of the thread though! :o

So, in Europe but not within the UK, it's an old zoo (opened pre-1900), we've ruled out a lot of the more obvious collections so I'm confused. Am I making a major omission?
