Guess the zoo

@ kiang : can you tell me in which year this first breeding took place because Walsrode claims to have had the world first breeding in the year 2000 ?

BTW San Diegos Wild Animal Park had the world first breeding with the African open-billed stork during 1994.

I think Walsrode was the first place to successfully raise chicks, but the first breeding was elsewhere, tonight i am in Castlebay, Isle of Barra and don't have the reference i used, but i believe it was the same year 1994 as well as a 3rd species of stork bred in captivity for the first time that year too.

Public i believe and no not London and zootiereliste does not show the collection in their former holders section.

I'm still playing the game and even found the right answer ! It took me some time to find all my IZN's and even longer to check them through but now I know it was Bioparque El Retiro in Malaga, Spain which had the first hatching of 3 chicks Asian Open-billed storks during 1994 ( the other 2 first-breedings of storks being the African Open-billed storks at San Diego Zoo and the Saddle-billed stork at Dallas Zoo ).

At last, well done VC, this could have gone on and on, over to you now..........

That was indeed a tricky one !
Here is the new one, from which I think it's not that difficult.
At which zoo a small monkey played a quite important role in that zoos breeding-programm of another primate-species ? The little monkey did it's job very well but died 2 years later by a terrible accident.
