Guess What I Found Nz

In case anyone's wondering. The Goodnight Kiwi was somehting that appeared before 24-hour television.:)

It would come on at midnight to signal the end of broadcasting which would start up again at about six in the morning.:)

The Goodnight Kiwi is very important to us New Zealander's so don't anyone dare insult it!:cool:
 
I suspect that this will have strong sentimental attraction/value to us NZers who remember those nights , but probably will mean nothing but a cartoon to other folk .....
 
For a cartoon character it is quite lovable ...! To many older gen NZ-ers it probably has some sentimental value.

As for bio ... - yup I know it is your national bird and quite rightly so - it is just funny that the bird in the cartoon is actually a nighttime active yet on telly he/she sleeps it off ... quite nicely! ;)
