Hall's New Guinea Crocodile in Captivity

Hall's New Guinea Crocodile (Crocodylus halli) is currently kept at Krokodille Zoo in Denmark and Wild Florida and St. Augustine Alligator Farm in the United States, but were these originally kept as New Guinea Crocodiles (Crocodylus novaeguineae) ?

Not at Krokodille Zoo. They acquired the species after the split.

I see, but how did Krokodille Zoo acquire Hall's New Guinea Crocodile? The New Guinea Crocodile is also a species with very few in captivity in Europe.

Hall's New Guinea Crocodile was apparently kept at Ragunan Zoo in Indonesia in the past, though at that time it was likely still being kept as a New Guinea Crocodile. To be honest, I can't tell the difference between these two species.
