If you take the area of the Welsh Mountain Zoo that actually has animal exhibits in the area there wouldn't be that much difference between the 2 in size.

Nice bit of news has been released by the zoo on their Facebook page....

Something very special for you all now....

You may remember me posting about our cheetahs mating a few months ago, well we had 1 very successful mating and I'm pleased to announce that on the 8th September 2012 Talli gave birth to 6 healthy cubs! They are 8 weeks old today and I took this small bit of footage this morning.

Although not currently directly on show they can be seen from the serval/maned wolf porches if you look carefully!

The latest electronic newsletter confirms the rearing of Tayra in 2012 , along with Sloth and Binturong .

Two large wind turbines have recently been erected . These will meet the Park's electricity needs as well as providing a surplus to be sold into the Grid .
