The most interesting species are the king parrots and the red-tailed black cockatoos.
I hope you manage to see them; seem to prefer coming after 3:30 for some reason.Looking forward to visiting Hamerton on Monday, haven't been sice the grison arrived.
Well this sounds promising- when was the last time there was a successful oncilla birth in the UK?Today i noticed the third Oncilla had access to the main enclosure and was being contiually followed and mounted by the male; the other female seemed more interested in sunbathing.

Saw three Javan binturongs in the old binturong house. The keeper suggested they'd not long gone on show but can't confirm. Does anyone know how long they've been on show?
I got one, will add it to the gallery now. They seemed very small. I wasn't sure if they were still young or a lot smaller subspecies.
Is that the house next to the entrance/exit? I saw the old ones in there in the last couple of weeks, so a very recent move.Saw three Javan binturongs in the old binturong house. The keeper suggested they'd not long gone on show but can't confirm. Does anyone know how long they've been on show?

Cool. I'll have to remember to look next time. I was told back in Jan/Feb that the pair had a couple of youngsters, but they were still off show at the back of the Swamp Wallaby enclosure.Yes right by the entrance. We didn't even go in there to start until the keeper told us about them. They didn't have access to the outside enclosure, so perhaps they had only been in there a day or two.
Where were the Javan binturong sources from?
