Its good that the tamarins are out of the glasshouse they were in, it was very small for them. And the enclosure in Parrot Court should be ideal for them - its just a shame that their introduction (and that of the pygmy marmosets earlier) probably means Parrot Court now just has 3-4 aviaries and a smaller number of exotic birds.

On the map it shows that there are no longer any Wild Dogs in the Savanna Area.
And that there is another Siamang enclosure behind the Wallabies, is this a new enclosure?

Is there a new Siamang exhibit now? Where the fallow deer/surplus blackbuck were? Or is this where a new one will be constructed? I doubt they would split up the retired pair they have, but they haven't recieved any more (that I know of), so why two logos on the map?
the young male at Willowbank is going to Auckland soon, so perhaps one or both of Auckland's are moving to Hamilton? Just a guess.

Interesting. Auckland don't have room (on-display) for a third, so its possible one/both are moving on. It would be a big undertaking for Hamilton to build a new exhibit on that paddock, but the way its set up already allows good elevated viewing which would be good for a siamang exhibit.
