Thanks guys! After I saw the first birthday thread (can't remember for whom or when) I wondered if I would ever get one ... and I did! :) Kind of a VIP treatment since we are around 3000 here! :D Ah well...

I hope to be down in England once the first trimester finishes around April 20th; Maguari, maybe Chester Zoo around that time? I was thinking of attending the zoo history conference Paul advertised for the start of May but he says he hasn't had any further information about whether it will be held at all. Still, conference or no conference, a return visit to Chester is long since due!

Cheers mate; sounds great, also got an offer to stay with P and H but an offer to stay with the (in)famous Zoogiraffe might be too much to resist! :D

Thanks, be sure to know that I'll continue the way I always have - I can't be bothered to participate in every debate here on Zoochat, I'll reserve my energy for those that I really feel into. And I'll continue uploading the photos I take with details and notes.

No worries, I'm always happy to discuss and I'm glad that not everyone here shares my opinions. I'm on Zoochat to learn and different opinions are a great way to do so; especially for me, who grew up thinking I was the only zoo enthusiast in the world.

A good argument against what I have to say is valued and appreciated.
