Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Apologies for the silence, I was enjoying a "get-away-from-it-all" retreat, which surprisingly didn't involve any collection visits (the closest I got was a drive past Reaseheath).

As for a photography related gift, I'm one set closer to a 1Dx, but there could also be a drum kit in my near future - I used to play in an orchestra so it's not complete impulse buy!
