Just did a quick search, and for the UK, all I could find is at 21, you can adopt a child and supervise a learner driver.

However, in the US, 21 is the minimum drinking age;)

In the UK 18 and 21 are your 2 big birthdays, tend to get given keys and rosettes. I understand the 18th being special but I guess the 21st is a bit outdated now.
Sucks that you can't drink 'til your 21. Thank goodness for the British sense of alcoholism! :D
