On June 8th, the zoo announced that it has received (
0.1) Virginia opossum named Olive that was rescued from the wild. Olive is now apart of the zoo's ambassador program.

1.3) chinchillas have arrived at the zoo and will be found at the Ashbury building.

1.1) zebras named Bakari and Aroha (Zoo held a naming contest that ended on August 10th).

On August 6th, it was announced that the zoo acquired (
0.0.1) an ostrich named Berries and would be joining the other ostrich Twig soon.

On September 25th, it was reported that due to much of the equipment being delayed, the opening of the new Africa section of the zoo, including the new giraffe/hyena habitats, has been pushed back to Spring 2021.

0.1), and is currently now at the serval exhibit.
