Welcome!

Can you say more about the particular books you enjoy?

I have a senseless fondness for 19thCentury books on zoos. I have one one Le Jardin des Plantes, in French, which I can barely understand but I love it.

books

i enjoy true zoo books at the moment am enjoying one by one by david taylor not such a rare book but collectable because it was the basis of the bbc tv series . i look in many of our local charity shops for books on zoos, animals, ect. this book was found only last weekend and gives a great insite into the way zoos and collections. the book is based around a vet who was at bel vue zoo in manchester .very good read.
