Hi! I was born & raised in San Diego, California and the San Diego Zoo was always a big part of my childhood. I've held a membership for many years and go frequently. I work nearby and often go for a "quick jaunt at the zoo" after i get off work (I always end up staying until closing, even when I think I'll be too tired to stay long).

My goal is to keep up with news at the San Diego Zoo & Safari Park!! Maybe learn some of the secrets about how people are keeping up with this info....
I'm also excited to learn about other zoos, I've never actually been to another zoo before.

This is such a cool community! I feel like social media has swallowed up a lot of what used to make the internet magical, so it's wonderful to see a good old fashioned forum like this thriving. ;)

I too am a very big supporter of both facilities; imo two of the best zoos worldwide.

Looking forward to seeing your contribution - and hopefully you get the opportunity to learn a lot about your home zoos too along the way. This site is certainly the right place to do so.

I tend to be more of a lurker but I feel excited to have something to contribute so I can participate. :)
