Hello, from a zoology major!

Hi everyone! I've been browsing through the galleries here for a year or so, but, since I will be entering the State University of New York at Oswego next year for a zoology major, I figured it'd be in my best interest to join. I'm hoping to end up working at a zoo, so anyone with advice, tips, or recommendations, please let me know!

I'm happy to be a part of this community, and excited to start contributing!
 
Welcome to ZooChat Robbie. There are several zoo professionals here so likely there is advice available on how to break into the zoo world. The most basic starting advice would be to start volunteering at your local zoo in some capacity so that you get to know some folks and they get to know you.

Good luck with your studies. I was a zoology major so I think that you have made a great choice:).
