Hi everyone
I discovered this forum afew days ago and have spent alot of time perusing it already. What a great site! I am a Primate Keeper at Auckland Zoo in New Zealand. I have worked there for 4 years now (did 2 years on Exotic Birds before rotating to Primate Section).
I adore my job, love zoos, love animals, and very passionate about conservation.
Although I am crazy about all animals I have a very soft spot for Orangutans in particular. I am passionate about educating people about Palm Oil and trying to prevent the extinction of our amazing relatives.
Cool to meet a bunch of like-minded people who so whole-heartedly support good zoos!

I often ask Abigail to provide information etc about Auckland Zoo , and whenever I am in Auckland I always make a point of visiting it .
It has never disappointed me . Its not the biggest zoo in the world , but it is still a very good zoo ! I really envy you working there .
