Nice to meet you all, I'm an amateur photographer living in Tokyo.
Please call me Taonuki.

I love taking photos of Red panda, Amur tiger, Tanuki.
I'm not fluent in English but I'll try my best to communicate.

I went to Taipei zoo-Taiwan and Seoul grand park zoo-Korea last year.
Before I go there, I've searched for their information and found this ZooChat.
This community's really precious and helpful.

I hope I can share a lot of Japan zoos' information and photos to everyone here.

Welcome! Japanese zoos have some incredible species that zoos in other countries do not have, always love to hear what kind of things are around over there.

Yeah new members cannot upload photos for a certain period of time and activity, it was a measure to prevent photo spams if I'm not mistaken.

Welcome on the forum Taonuki. It is nice to see our Asian Zoochatter community slowly increasing in size. It would be so nice to have your perspective on Japanese zoos, the 3 Tokyo zoos.

In particular it would be really helpful if you can provide for regular news on new animals, modernisation and renovation of parts of the zoos that are local to you and any other zoos in Japan you (may) visit or note zoo news of special interest to us all. Just remember, we are rather starved of news as yet when it comes to Japanese zoo news and more Japanese posters on Zoochat would really help our forum flourish and also appeal more to Asian viewers and posters themselves.

I really would appreciate more of your local perspectives and experiences of zoos and how things are developing locally. Plus enjoy the forum and fellow Zoochatters and making it a great place for exchange and discussing our common hobby and areas of interest in zoos, wild animals and the environment.

Hi Kifaru, thank you for warm welcome message.
I just had time to learn about ZC and already shared some photos from Tama zoo in the media album last week.

From now on, I'm not sure whether I will have time to follow up, translate all of the news from Japanese zoos or not. But I will try my best to share them with short translate first.
