Hi, my name is Mike. I stumbled across the website looking for maps of the Omaha zoo. Obviously being from Nebraska, I'm rather fond of the Omaha Zoo. I wasn't searching for maps because I don't know how to get around the zoo, but I've built a website around the zoo that is kind of like google street view, only it uses videos. I thought maybe a few people on here might enjoy it. Its located at omahazoowalking.com

It lets you choose a start and end point at the zoo and "walk" using videos between the two locations. It lets you virtually tour the zoo however you like. We have plans to hopefully add 360 degree videos soon, so you can actually look around while you "walk".

We have been building these websites for several locations, including Vegas and Disneyland. That's why our "brand name" is Strip Walking, because we started with the Vegas Strip.

But I digress, if you are interested, check out omahazoowalking.com and let me know what you think. It's a completely free website. If you enjoy it and want to help us out, also please consider subscribing to our youtube channel.

Thanks for allowing me to participate in your community!

Welcome, Mike! It's an interesting website and could be especially useful to people who like me, who plan a lot and/or are disabled in some form and ideally need to be more prepared for certain aspects of walking around places that others might not notice. Disappointing that it doesn't stop and look at the actual exhibits, though ;)

I am the exact same way! I like to over plan everything. It is on our to-do list to add the exhibits for sure! Also want to shoot the video in 360 to allow the user to look around as they "walk".
