Hi everyone,

My name is Diane.... love the Central Park Zoo. My favorite animals there are the Red Pandas (Goodwin and Amaiya) and the Snow Leopards (Chocolate, Zoe, and Bo).

I love the Central Park Zoo, too. It is my second favorite zoo after the Chincoteague Island Zoo. I think the zoo in Central Park has a great collection of animals for its size and all of the animals are the kind I really enjoy watching.

I live accross the pond in Wales, near England, in the UK. When i went to New York, i didn't intend to go to the Central Park Zoo, but as i saw the gates and the seal pool through the bushes i couldn'r resist! I am SO glad i went! It's in my top 5 zoo's! and i was totally not expecting polar bears in such a small collection! but i'm sure it's common for you in the US as there are only 2 polar bears between 3 countries! (the UK). Also, i would love to work in the sky-scrappers at the left side of the zoo, looking over the park and zoo! Welcome to ZooChat, if you love the Central Park Zoo you'll fit right in!

by Joan Scheier? It's a great little book with a lot of historic info and photos.
