Hello everyone from ZooChat. This is an absolutely wonderful site with a broad range of topics, information, and photos. I am an Architect that specializes in exhibit design for zoos and aquariums. No doubt I can use this site to view other exhibits and to develop ideas. Also, I will happily accept any suggestions for design. I will also post some of my latest projects for everyone to review and comment on.

Welcome to the site from Kansas City. I am looking foward to seeing some of your projects. Have you ever worked with the Philadelphia Zoo or Adventure Aquarium?

Yes, I have worked at both places - I worked on the PECO Primate Preserve at the Philadelphia Zoo and several of the outdoor exhibits (most notably the renovations to the Sea Lion Exhibit) at the Adventure Aquarium (then called the New Jersey State Aquarium).
 
Hello Zooplantman,

I am currently in New Mexico finalizing the design and biddable documents for the proposed Penguin Chill exhibit at the Albuquerque Biopark Zoo. With a little luck, we should be under construction within a year. Also completed the design for the proposed $23-million addition to the Albuquerque Aquarium, but that is being held up at City Hall (local politics). Under construction now is the Tulsa Zoo Sea Lion Habitat - should be completed late this summer. Recently completed construction projects include a new Otter Exhibit in Charleston, South Carolina, and the Cats of California at the California Living Museum in Bakersfield.
